Wood and Water | The Charlestown 2014 House, Episode 4
Richard tours the last wooden whaling ship in the world, the Charles W. Morgan. Architect Sally DeGan tells Norm that the new dormer was finally approved and Tom shows its progress, and how he's carefully waterproofing its low slope roof. Inside, Kevin sees that insulation went in a few days ago and wallboard is going up. Mason Mark McCullough installs a reclaimed brick veneer on the new kitchen bump out. Kevin drops in to see kitchen designer Kathy Marshall working on the interior design details with homeowner Angela Daigle. Norm and Tom replace the fake, applied vinyl shutters on our house with authentic, operable shutters make out of durable fiberglass & PVC.
