Woman, 18, stabbed in South Providence; suspect charged with felony assault

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — A woman is recovering at Rhode Island Hospital after having been stabbed and slashed three times by a homeless man in his twenties, the police reported Saturday.The incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. Friday at 413 Pine St., South Providence.
