Judge approves receiver's petition to sell historic Hope Mill

PROVIDENCE — Superior Court Judge Michael A. Silverstein approved a receiver's petition Friday morning to sell the Hope Mill in Scituate and Coventry to a representative of the Paramount Development Group Corp., of Chelmsford, Mass.Paramount expects to develop 207 residences at the site, and plans to apply for federal low-income housing tax credits to help finance the rehabilitation project.
